My wife and I have been looking forward to the 'Taste of Texas' ever since arriving in Houston two years ago. I don't know what I expected, but I didn't find anything about the place that appealed to me. The impersonal method of seating (we were number 89), the limited menu, the high cost, all mean that we will not be back. The food was OK, but I don't like paying those prices for OK. We could have had the same meal just about anywhere, and that is not what excellence is supposed to be all about.
